I saw the movie last night and he did not impress me with anything I saw. The filmmakers have no idea who the Snake-Eyes are or whether they deliberately destroy the character. Apart from the fact that Snake-Eyes was always a Gaijin (white boy) he was also revered in everything he did. This version has him as a double face, a liar, a thief. The weak rescue arc in the last act was too small – too late, and unbelievable. Throw options also left me a little confused. Golding had never really chosen Snake-Eyes and as much as I love Samara Weaving, he was an awesome Scarlet. The actor who skillfully portrayed Baroness was very young to this character and was not at all close to believing. Iko Uwais was great as usual but it could have been the best Storm Shadow or Snake-Eyes! Andrew Koji did a great job as Storm Shadow and it was the best starring in every film by far.
